The
Run/Walk Across America route included 15 states and 3,200 miles.
It went through large cities and wide open spaces. It is a route that
crossed mountain ranges, traversed lowlands, and at times paralleled some
major U.S. rivers. It included breathtaking scenery, varying elevations,
and historic landmarks. The nation's capitol, Washington D.C.,was visited
as well as countless rarely heard of towns along the way. Temperatures on
the route varied between -20 degrees to +90 degrees. It is
believed that this particular route (from start to finish) had never been
traveled before by anyone on foot and had the Pacific and Atlantic oceans
as natural starting and finishing points.

the states crossed during the Run/Walk Across America included (in order): |
