We asked students, teachers, administrators, parents, and anyone else who may have stumbled across this web site to send us a postcard if they were on our route. We had a large map of the United States in our gymnasium with the route marked out and surrounded that map with actual postcards from the states we crossed. We even had one teacher send us sand from the Pacific Ocean!
