Presentations To Be Done By Paul During P.A.C.E. Trek 2009

The following dates, locations and presentation times have been scheduled to occur during Paul's 500-mile trek through Alaska (view route). If you would like to have your school scheduled for a FREE presentation, please contact Paul. For specific presentation information for your grade level, please select from the following: Elementary | Middle School | High School. Paul will alert schools if a scheduling change is needed due to unforeseen circumstances.

April 20, 2009 (Monday): Paul will be in Juneau, Alaska. He is hoping to visit Juneau-Douglas High School following a 25-mile run. Paul graduated from JDHS in 1983 having been the captain of the school's track & field team, yearbook editor, and occasionally a school dance DJ!

April 22, 2009 (Wednesday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be on a ferry to Haines, Alaska.

April 23, 2009 (Thursday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be in the process of being transported to the Canadian border.

April 24, 2009 (Friday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be running 30 miles from the Alaska/Canada border to Northway Junction, Alaska. If your school is along his route for today, he could certainly run up to your school and say hello briefly to your students outside (approx. 10 minutes). Contact Paul if you would like to try and arrange this.

April 25, 2009 (Saturday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be running 37 miles from approximately 13 miles west of Chistochina to Glennallen. However, Paul will return to the Glennallen area May 14-15 and will be available for presentations at that time (see those dates below).

April 26, 2009 (Sunday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be running 37 miles from Tolsona to Copper Center. However, Paul will return to the Glennallen area May 14-15 and will be available for presentations at that time (see those dates below).

April 27, 2009 (Monday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be running 33 miles on Highway 4 into Valdez, Alaska.

April 28, 2009 (Tuesday): Paul will be transported to Eklutna, Alaska today, but is currently available to give a presentation in Valdez before 10:00am. He will depart Valdez no later than 10am. Contact Paul today!

April 29, 2009 (Wednesday): Paul will run 13 miles from Eklutna to Eagle River, Alaska on this day. The following presentations are currently scheduled:

Alpenglow Elementary School in Eagle River
      19201 Driftwood Bay Road
      2:15pm until 3:00pm

Paul still has an opening for a presentation in the Eagle River/Chugiak area on this day anytime between 11:00am and 1:15pm. If this doesn't work with your schedule, Paul will be returning to the Anchorage, Eagle River and Chugiak area for presentations anytime on Monday, May 18, and Tuesday, May 19 - which is after the 500-mile trek through Alaska is completed. April 30, 2009 (Thursday): Paul will run 12 miles from Eagle River to Anchorage, Alaska on this day. The following presentations are currently scheduled:

Williwaw Elementary School in Anchorage
      1200 San Antonio St.
      2:15pm until 3:00pm

Paul still has an opening for a presentation in the Anchorage area on this day anytime between 11:00am and 1:15pm. If this doesn't work with your schedule, Paul will be returning to the Anchorage, Eagle River and Chugiak area for presentations anytime on Monday, May 18, and Tuesday, May 19 - which is after the 500-mile trek through Alaska is completed. May 2, 2009 (Saturday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be running 29 miles from Willow to approximately 16 miles south of Trapper Creek, Alaska.

May 3, 2009 (Sunday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be running 30 miles from Cantwell to the Denali National Park Visitor's Center.

May 4, 2009 (Monday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be running 35 miles from the Denali National Park Visitor's Center to approximately 15 miles south of Anderson, Alaska. If your school is along his route for today, he could run up to your school and say hello briefly to students outside (approx. 10 minutes). Contact Paul if you would like to try and arrange this.

May 5, 2009 (Tuesday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be running 35 miles from approximately 8 miles south of Anderson to Nenana, Alaska. If your school is along his route for today, he could run up to your school and say hello briefly to students outside (approx. 10 minutes). Contact Paul if you would like to try and arrange this.

May 6, 2009 (Wednesday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be running 30 miles from Nenana to approximately 25 miles west of Fairbanks, Alaska. May 8, 2009 (Friday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be running 30 miles from milepost 85 of the Dalton Highway to the Arctic Circle.

May 9, 2009 (Saturday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be in the process of being transported from the Arctic Circle to Fox, Alaska.

May 10, 2009 (Sunday): Paul will run 25 miles from Fox to North Pole, Alaska via Fairbanks on this day, but is currently available to give a presentation in North Pole at 3:00pm. Contact Paul today!

May 11, 2009 (Monday): Paul will not be making presentations this day as he will be running 44 miles from North Pole to mid-point on way to Delta Junction, Alaska.

May 12, 2009 (Tuesday): Paul will run 29 miles to Delta Junction, Alaska on this day and plans on completing P.A.C.E. Trek 2009 at Delta Elementary School (2659 Nistler Road) at 2:00pm.
