coast-to-coast run across America to

This FREE
educational opportunity required no more than 10 to 15 minutes
per day for 15 school days! For a classroom, that was a
commitment of less than 4 hours! Thousands of students in
the U.S.A. and overseas registered to participate in
this inaugural P.A.C.E. Trek.
Paul is a former 5th grade teacher who is committed
to encouraging children toward greater health and fitness,
and the pursuit of their goals and dreams.
His unique approach is to use his ultra-endurance abilities
to get kids running, walking and learning through
long-distance journeys.
During P.A.C.E. Trek 2008 teams of children,
ages 5 through 18 years, "virtually" raced Paul 620 miles across Montana, USA.
Students participated in the journey by acquiring
running and walking mileage at school (such as in physical
education class, recess, or some other time). Also, some
extracurricular sports mileage was allowed. However, this
trek was not only for school teams.
Non-school teams could participate also. Throughout the journey
children learned about the locations Paul actually ran through alone via details at this
web site (including pictures, journal entries and videos
posted during the trek). Schools from the U.S.A. and
overseas were involved in this journey, including
students in Department of Defense schools for military
families. More program details can be found by selecting your students' age level:
