GAME #1

Desert Dash:
Need a break from all of that running and walking? How about driving a car "virtually"? You can hop into Lightning McQueen - the fastest car to roll Route 66 - and try to dust the competition. You'll use the arrow keys on your keyboard to turn right, left, go faster, or put on the brakes. This is a 3-lap race through a desert portion of Route 66... and the other drivers are pretty good. Good luck!

GAME #2

Carry The Olympic Torch!
In 2002, Paul Staso (one of the organizers of the Route 66 virtual trek) was selected to carry the Olympic Torch as part of the Winter Olympic Torch Relay. Now you can have a chance to carry the torch... virtually! There are four challenging ways to get the torch to the Olympic finish line. You can choose between snowboard, snow skis, snowmobile, or canoe. Good luck!

These Are The Lyrics To "Get Your Kicks On Route 66"

Well if you ever plan to motor west
Take my way that's the highway that's the best
Get your kicks on Route 66

Well it winds from Chicago to L.A.
More than 2000 miles all the way
Get your kicks on Route 66

Well it goes through St Louis, Joplin, Missouri
Oklahoma City looks oh so pretty
You'll see Amarillo and Gallup, New Mexico
Flagstaff, Arizona don't forget Winona
Kingman, Barstow, San Bernardino

Won't you get hip to this timely tip
And take that California trip
Get your kicks on Route 66

Well it goes from St. Louis, Joplin, Missouri
Oklahoma City looks oh so pretty
You'll see Amarillo and Gallup, New Mexico
Flagstaff, Arizona don't forget Winona
Kingman, Barstow, San Bernardino

Won't you get hip to this timely tip
When you make that California trip
Get your kicks on Route 66
