Something Today About Germany...
Approximately 40,000 people live in Ansbach,
Germany and 90,000 in the greater Ansbach area. The city has five schools and the Ansbach University of
Applied Sciences. During World War II, a subcamp of the Flossenburg
concentration camp was located here. Ansbach was a small town largely
by-passed by the Industrial Revolution. It was an administrative and
cultural center. Although all bridges were destroyed during World War
II, the historical center of Ansbach was spared and it has kept its
baroque character. Ansbach hosts several units of the U.S. armed forces,
associated with German units under NATO.

Something Today About Health & Fitness...
Research has shown that exercise can slow or
help prevent heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, high
cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis (bone loss), and
loss of muscle mass. There isn't a major health problem where exercise
cannot have a positive effect. Not only does exercise help fight
disease, it creates a stronger heart – the most important muscle in the
body.Your heart and cardiovascular system will function more effectively. The heart will build up less plaque
and become a more
efficient pump. And, when the heart becomes stronger, it pumps more
blood per beat, so at rest the heart rate is lower. It's not going to
have to beat as fast to expend the same amount of effort.

Did
You Know?
If you were to live until the age of 75, you
would probably take about 600 million breaths to get to that age. On
average, you breathe about 13 to 17 times per minute. If you run hard,
you may have to breathe up to 80 times per minute. There are about 300
million little air sacs (or alveoli) in your body. A normal breath takes
in about 14 fluid ounces of air. Also, if you were to open out your
lungs and lay them flat on a surface, your lungs would cover an area
about the size of a tennis court. Breathing provides your blood with
oxygen from the air that is vital to the survival of every body cell. ______________________________________________________________________________
