Alaska residents typically reference roads by name rather than number. However, highway numbers are listed below because most maps reference by number.

April 20 (Monday) 25 mile Run (total to date: 25) - overnight with friends
Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau to the State Capital.

    April 21 (Tuesday) No Running - overnight with friends
      School Assembly: Tuesday, April 21 from 9:45am until 10:30am.
      School Assembly: Tuesday, April 21 from 1:00pm until 1:45pm.

    April 22 (Wednesday) No Running - overnight in lodge
  
 
4-hour ferry ride to Haines, Alaska; then, begin vehicle transport to border.

    April 23 (Thursday) No Running - overnight in RV
  
 
Day of vehicle transport to Alaska/Canada border at Highway 2 location.

April 24 (Friday) 30 mile Run (total to date: 55) - overnight with family
Alaska/Canada border to Northway Jct., AK; then transport to Chistochina.

April 25 (Saturday) 37 mile Run (total to date: 92) - overnight with family
Tolsona to Copper Center; then transport to Tolsona.

April 26 (Sunday) 37 mile Run (total to date: 129) - overnight in lodge
Mile marker 100 to marker 63 on Highway 4; then transport to Valdez.
             This is a route change made on April 25!! Mileage is as planned.

April 27 (Monday) 33 mile Run (total to date: 162) - overnight with family
Valdez to 33-mile marker of Highway 4 (over Thomspon Pass).

Day of vehicle transport from Valdez to Eklutna.

Eklutna to Eagle River.
             School Assembly: Wednesday, April 29 from 11:00am until 11:45am.
             School Assembly: Wednesday, April 29 from 1:30pm until 2:15pm.

Eagle River to Anchorage; then transport to Wasilla.

Wasilla to Willow.
             School Assembly: Friday, May 1 from 9:15am until 10:00am.

Willow to 16 Miles South of Trapper Creek; then transport to Cantwell.

Cantwell to Denali National Park Visitor's Center.

Denali National Park Visitor's Center to 15 Miles South of Anderson.

8 Miles South of Anderson to Nenana.

Nenana to Approximately 25 Miles West of Fairbanks.

Day of vehicle transport to milepost 85 of Dalton Highway.

MAY 8 NOTICE. Due to very poor road conditions, it was not possible for me (Paul) to make it to the milepost 85 of the Dalton Highway yesterday via RV. So the remainder of the trek schedule had to be altered to accommodate the remaining 137 miles. As noted in the May 7 journal entry, here is the remaining schedule:

Friday, May 8 - Run 15 miles from North Pole, Alaska (going southeast) down Highway 2.

Saturday, May 9 - Run 30 miles on Highway 2 (on a stretch of road between North Pole and Richardson).

Sunday, May 10 - Run 31 miles on Highway 2 from Richardson on Highway 2 heading South.

Monday, May 11 - Run 31 miles on Highway 2 south of Delta Junction.

Tuesday, May 12 - Run 30 miles on Highway 2 into Delta Junction (which is where this trek will end).
